GRATOS team Organized and implemented with great success the GRATOS final Workshop on Graph Theoretical Tools in Sciences on 17th March 2022, online.

During the Workshop six junior and senior members of the GRATOS team have presented parts of there results within GRATOS activities. Additionally, an Invited Speaker (Professor Fragkiskos Papadopoulos, TEPAK, Cyprus) presented part of his research work related to graph theory and applications in sciences.

In particular, the following talks have been given:

  • “Latent network geometry: from single-layer systems to multiplexes and temporal networks”, Associate Professor Fragkiskos Papadopoulos, Cyprus University of Technology (Invited Speaker).
  • “Classification of local ultraluminous infrared galaxies and quasars with Kernel PCA”, Evangelos Papaefthymiou, EUC.
  • “A Graph Theoretical Analysis of Local Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies and Quasars”, Orestis Pavlou, EUC.
  • “Detecting and analysing the topology of the Cosmic web with spatial clustering algorithms”, Dimitris Kelesis, ICCS/NTUA.
  • “Graph Theoretical Methods in Neuroscience”, Andreas Ioannides, AAISCS.
  • “A new look at local ultraluminous infrared galaxies: radiative transfer models of their complex physics”, Andreas Efstathiou, EUC.
  • “Reconstructing the mid-infrared spectra of galaxies using ultraviolet to submillimeter photometry and Deep Generative Networks”, Agapi Rissaki, ICCS/NTUA.

At the end of the workshop GRATOS consortium discussed GRATOS progress and planning. Several scientists from Cyprus and abroad have been invited and participated in the workshop online.
