Work Package Objectives

The overall goal of WP1 is to monitor and control the status of the GRATOS project in order to be completed successfully and in time. This goal will be reached on time via the implementation of the following objectives:

Maintenance of the Consortium Agreement

  • Scientific direction and oversight of the project
  • Interfacing with and reporting to RPF
  • Management of consortium and project finances (according to RPF guidelines and national laws)
  • Monitoring and prioritisation of all project activities with respect to deliverables and various deadlines
  • Resolution of any technical or staffing issues that may arise

Work Package Objectives

 WP2 objective is to explore and disseminate to a general audience the scientific results of the project, as well as to engage the public with the basic concepts related with the proposed project in the field of Graph Theory and its applications/tools in Neuroscience and Astrophysics.

Work Package Title        Conceptual Framework for Clustering problems

Work Package Objectives

The first objective of this WP is to explore a common framework combining together (graph) theoretical and the domain based knowledge. The second objective of the WP is the development of a common conceptual framework for data management, algorithms and implementation strategies to be used in the project.

Work Package Title        Cosmological and Astrophysical Applications

Work Package Objectives

WP4 objective is to use Graph Theory tools and the common framework (WP3) developed by GRATOS in order to explore the feasibility of both the Cosmological and Astrophysical applications. The evaluation of the initial scientific results on both applications will indicate which one is the most promising one to focus in GRATOS for further examination and research.

Work Package Title        A Neuroscience Family of problems

Work Package Objectives

Use the GRATOS approach to obtain meaningful clustering of the following three sets of data:

Behavioural data collected with the PANDIAS device

Graph theoretical analysis of tomographic estimates of activity extracted with EFT from EEG resting state data and visual stimuli collected during the SmokeFreeBrain Horizon 2020 project

Graph theoretical analysis of tomographic estimates of activity extracted with MFT from MEG data recorded in different states of rest and different sleep stages

Work Package Title        Exploration of a uniform Graph Theoretical Framework for Clustering  problems in Sciences

Work Package Objectives

The aim of this WP is to finalize the conceptual framework we started in WP3.The final framework will draw from the experience of the implementation of the initial framework of WP3 and the refinements during the project and the outputs from WP4 and WP5.
