Ass. Prof. Vicky Papadopoulou-Lesta (VPL) (EUC)
Dr. Vicky Papadopoulou Lesta studied first at the University of Patras, where she received the Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics then pursed graduate studies in the same University, where she received the Master and Ph.D. degrees in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
Prof. Andreas Efstathiou (EUC)
Dr Andreas Efstathiou holds a BSc(Eng) degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London. He held appointments at Queen Mary & Westfield College and Imperial College London before joining Cyprus College in 2001.
Prof. Andreas A, Ioannides (AAISCS)
Prof. Andreas A. Ioannides studied Physics and carried out research first in nuclear Physics and then moved to magnetoencephalography (MEG) and neuroscience. He established theoretical teams and set up functional neuroimaging laboratories in international centers of excellence in the UK, Germany and Japan leading to over 150 scientific papers. He returned to Cyprus in 2009 setting up AAISCS to continue the basic neuroscience research of previous years with the additional goal of using the resulting knowledge to develop new services and products with cheaper and widely accessible technology.
Dr Lichan Liu (AAISCS)
Dr Lichan Liu, senior scientist at AAISCS since 2009. She has BSc (1st Class Honours) and MSc in Computer Science in addition to a PhD in Biophysics. Dr Liu has worked in world renown research centers in Germany, Canada and Japan before moving to Cyprus. She has published over 50 journal papers focusing on neuroimaging data processing and interpretation.
Dr Evangelos Papaefthymiou
Evangelos Papaefthymiou holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics of Imperial College London (2014). His PhD work led to publications in top journals in the field of Applied Mathematics and he was awarded the Yael Naim Dowker Centenary Prize in Mathematics for the best thesis in the Department of Mathematics. Furthermore, he holds a Meng degree (5-years of studies, 2002-2007) from the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering Department of the University of Patras.
Ass. Prof. Ioannis Michos (EUC)
Ioannis Michos holds a B.Sc. (with distinction) in Mathematics from University of Ioannina, Greece; a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics (Algebra) from the University of Manchester, England. He had been a post-doctoral fellow at LIAFA (Laboratoire d’ Informatique: Fondements et Applications) (today’s IRIF: Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale) at the University of Paris VII in France working on the 5th European TMR project ALAPEDES (Algebraic Approach to Performance Evaluation of Discrete Event Systems).

Ms. Tina Cleanthous (AAISCS)
Ms. Tina Cleanthous, received her BSc in Physics in 2010 and MSc in Medical Physics in 2013, both from Department of Physics, University of Patras (Greece). She specializes in non-invasive human brain measurements with precision and EEG data analysis.
Mr Panagiotis Patsilinakos (ICCS/NTUA)
Mr. Constantinos Kourouyiannis (AAISCS)
Mr. Constantinos Kourouyiannis, received his BSc in Computer Science from University of Cyprus in 2006 and MSc in Advanced Computer Science from University of Manchester (UK) in 2007. Since 2012, he has been developing programs in R, MATLAB, C++ for AAISCS.
